About Us

Orangeslices.com was created in the Summer of 1999. I was playing on a couple soccer teams and an ultimate frisbee squad. After a few days out of the office and off email, I had received over 200 emails about the upcoming games for the week. Who's in? Who's out? Who needs a ride? What color jersey should I bring? As I jammed on the delete key, the idea behind Orangeslices.com was born.

Just like there is no I in team, I called my good friend who knew more about webservers than I but still appreciatted how to flick a frisbee and Orangeslices.com became we.

Our goal was and still is to allow any recreational sport team to communicate quickly and efficiently without the hassle of dozens - or hundreds - of emails per week while hopefully avoiding the pain of forfeit.

Since 1999, we have grown to help over 3,000 teams and tens of thousands of players manage their recreational sports outings. Orangeslices LLC was formed in 2006 to put some structure around this project of ours. In spite of the more corporate sounding name, our promise will always remain the same:

• Our core service will always free to our fellow players.
• We will try and improve our services as time and resources allow.
